Diary of a Dream
Hiiiiiiiii beloved friends!! I came back from London on Tuesday night! I've been busy in these days, that's why I didn't come to write anything to update you :)
But now it's late here, I have nothing to do and I felt the need to tell you how amazing this trip has been. London is an amazing town, it's so different from where I live.. It's another planet xD
Staying there I felt everyday more the desire to move there. I loved everything of London. The lights, the sounds, the people, every night was like a party *_* Piccadilly circus and Leicester Square are my new obsessions xD I know that the weather there is veeeery cold and rainy, but it's worth it. I mean, Naples is nothing compared to London. I swear. Maybe I say that because I don't like a lot my city..
Anyway, I visited a lot of things, all the important things: Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the Big Bang, Westminster, Madame Tussauds Museum, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, I did the ride on the "London Eye" and I saw Hyde Park,Portobello and the National Gallery. But now I HAVE to tell you the "diary of my dream".
Yeah, 'cause this vacation was amazing not just for London, but 'cause I saw my idol, my reason of living xD ..... Orlando Bloom *_*
I love him xD he's my favorite actor. I've never had a favorite actor since I fell in love with his movies. I always "liked that guy in that movie" but I've never been obsessed with an actor so hardly before.
By the way.. I told you some posts ago that I was going to see his show "In Celebration" at the Duke of York's Theatre in London. And so I did *_* I saw him EVERY NIGHT for a week *_* (except Friday and Sunday.. and you'll know why xD) But now it's time to start from the beginning... that beginning that will take to the most important moment of my life since now.
Day One : Monday, August 20th 2007
My parents and I arrived in London at 5 pm. We went to the hotel with my cousin (he lives there and booked a room for us). That night we went out for dinner, the four of us.
After dinner my dad said to me "Anto, I'm curious to know where this theatre is..", so we started searchin' it all around London xD It seemed like we had no luck, when finally we saw the tag "St Martin's Lane" on a wall, and the very first thing I saw was the advertisement of "In Celebration" above the theatre.
Here it is:
A lot of people where outside there waiting for Orlando to come. They were a lot, but not so many as I thought.
There were two bodyguards that were screaming all the time to people "Don't push! Stay behind the bars!" and things like that.. I hated them after 2 minutes xD
And also another guy was there. He wasn't so "big" as the bodyguards xD So I think he was just some Orlando-agent or something like that.
By the way, after 10-15 minutes Orlando came out. I was behind two lines of people (that were constantly pushing xD) so I was really near to him.
In that moment I didn't realize anything. I was shocked. My idol was just in front of me. I wasn't able to move a muscle xD I think I had a heart attack in that moment xD
I hadn't any pen with me for an autograph, so I just made photos and my dad filmed the "event" xD... Here's some photos..

I was screaming like a mad xD I was running all around the crowd of people for takin' photos... I freaked out xD
After few minutes Orlando says "Thanks for coming, guys!" and he goes inside again.
All the people start to go away.. and also us. I was walking with my mother and I was crying thinking about what happened xD
My dad and my cousin were walking behind us. Suddenly my dad noticed that a dog was pushing my cousin's leg so he said "Damn people. Obsessed with dogs!".. but.. he realized that the guy who was carrying the dog had something familiar... He was HIM! Orlando passed near to my arm and I didn't notice him! My mom told me that! I start crying again and again seeing him walkin away. My mom said "Call him!" but two italian girls did the same thing before me.. I saw them taking a photo with him *_* I hated them with all my heart xD I called Orlando but he went into the restaurant and he disappered.

But I didn't give up xD In that moment I decided "I'll have my photo with Orlando.. no matter what it will cost" xD
Day Two: Tuesday, August 21st 2007
I went to see "In Celebration", the 2.30 pm show. All the actors have been amazing. They are really talented. Even my mother,who didn't understand a word that they said xD, said their act was so emotional and involving that she couldn't take her eyes off the actor who was talking. I have to say that Orlando's been good, but my favorite has been Paul Hilton. He did an amazing performance, he left me totally speechless. I wish him the best for his career, he really deserves it.
Anyway, I waited for Orlando outside the theatre as I did the night before. He came out earlier than I thought. He started signing autographs.. and I had my first autograph *_* (Yes the first xD 'cause at the end of this "Odyssey of madness" I had SIX Orlando's autographs xD)

He didn't leave the theatre with his dog as the night before xD But I still didn't give up xD Even if my dad said for all the time "Paganini doesn't repeat himself" which means that the opportunity was just one xD
Day Three : Wednesday, August 22nd 2007
I went out of the theatre, again xD I know I was acting like a stalker xD I was in the first line that night. I saw Orlando completely near to me, face to face.
My mom was standing at the opposite side from where I was, 'cause she wanted to take photos while he was signing the autograph, but the camera went flat so she only took this photos while I was waiting for him (I'm the girl in the red circle)
Here the blonde lady who is signing an autograph to the girl next to me is Dearbhla Molloy, the actress who in the play was Orlando's character's mother :)
So, no Orlando's photos from that night.. but.. yeah there is a big "BUT" xD While Orlando was signing autographs, a girl behind me gave him a gift. While he was taking it his left hand got caught up to my hair *_* So he said to me "Oh.. Sorry Miss!". I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED!!! xD That was the first time Orlando spoke to me xD I was so excited at the moment, I know that for many of you this thing is so shallow, but, believe me, was a sooooo huge thing for me!
Day Four : Thursday, August 23rd 2007
This is THE day.. the most important day of all the trip. The most important day of my life since now. When IT HAPPENED! So.. let me explain or you'll think i'm a freak xD
That night, like all the other nights, I went outside the theatre.. and after the photos-video-autographs-screaming thing about seeing Orlando, I waited for him after he came back inside the theatre.
The car that he usually took outside wasn't there, so I thought "If he's not going to take the car.. he'll go by feet to the restaurant" so I waited... With the camera in my hands, hoping that he would take a photo with me.
So my mother and I went to the street where the restaurant was and waited for him..After a couple of minutes my mom said "He's coming! He's coming!"
And there was Orlando, carrying his dog by leash. A couple of girls were running after him screaming his name like they were having a heart attack xD Poor girls, I can understand them xD
He kept saying "No, I'm sorry.. No.." and things like that. But I wasn't going to give up. He kept walking while a photographer was stalking him taking photos. The flash went into his eyes.
Orlando was really pissed off about this thing. So I started walking after him, he turned back and looked at me and I did "Hello Hello" with my hand xD I was a little scared, I didn't know if I could call him. My mom convinced me to call him so I started screaming "Orlando!Orlando!" until he turned his head. He came back to me and told me something.. I didn't understand a thing, first of all 'cause I was totally shocked that Orlando Bloom was ACTUALLY T-A-L-K-I-N-G to ME , and second of all in that moment I wasn't capable to understand anything in italian, imagine in english!
Anyway, seeing his face I got that he didn't have time to stop for takin' a photo with me. So I started saying "Orlando please! Just one!" and my mom said (with her hands in prayer) "We came from Naples!" (I loved her in that moment xD). Orlando looked at us, he was REEEEEEEEEALLY pissed off I guess xD After two secs he took the camera off of my hands, he looked at it (I guess he's not so comfortable with technology xD), he put his right arm upon my shoulders and the camera in front of our faces.. I swear.. I can't say how I felt in that moment.. I mean..
I WAS HUGGING ORLANDO BLOOM! I mean.. HE WAS HUGGING ME! I was touching him *_* I felt his breath upon my cheek, it was warm *_* We were cheek to cheek.. He was going to take the photo..
So he started pushing the botton for takin' it.. but he pushed the wrong botton!!!!!!! 'Cause my camera has three bottons and I guess Orlando's been not so smart to know which one was right to push xD And I've been not so smart too, 'cause I could lengthen my finger to help him.. but I didn't 'cause I was out of my mind.
He tried three times before he gave up and gave the camera to my mom sayin' "I'm so sorry...". I swear that I almost pulled him to make him come back xD But other girls arrived so he was surrounded xD
He walked away screaming at me "I'M SOOOOOORRYYYYYY" *_* He was sorry *_*
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i can't believe it xD even now, saying it, it's like I'm telling the story of another girl, it's been like living a dream. More than that. More than everything.
It's been magic. I've never felt an emotion as intense as that.

After that night I didn't catch Orlando alone anymore. He always left the theatre with the car. I went outside there again on Saturday, but there were too many people and too much caos, so I just saw him while he was coming back inside the theatre after he signed the autographs. So I didn't take photos.
On Monday 27th was the last time I saw him. I went outside the theatre.. I had other three autographs and I took a lot of photos.. Three of them..
So.. I didn't have my photo with Orlando.. But it doesn't matter. I mean.. I HUGGED HIM! If that's not enough so tell me what it is!
But the most important thing is that I SAW him! I saw my favorite actor. My favorite actor ever. He's so beatiful, even if I imagined him a little bit taller than he is, and he was reeeeally thin!
He's a handsome guy, but I have to say that in TV,films and other stuff, people appear totally different compared to how they really look like in the real life. Orlando is beautiful yeah.. but he's not like you see him in POTC. He's different. He's a normal guy. That makes me see that we are all equal in this world. No matter what profession you do, or who you are or who you'll become, we are equal.
So, in the end I say that this has been the most emotional experience that I've ever done, and I'm so thankful to my mom and my dad, who always make me happy in every possible way. I love them.
All this thing happened thanks to them. Thank you.
